So it's been awhile...

...but due to some not fun blasts of reality, I chose to lay off writing about the past couple of weeks, on the grounds that I may have written something that I would have regretted in the long run. (lesson #74: do not blog while full of rage.) But today is a new day and the start of a new week...and so now, somewhat full of peace...I will share some recent happenings. :)

A couple Saturdays back my favorite bar around the corner, Rembrandt Cafe, had their Queen's Day Party. It's a Dutch bar...and they were honoring the Queen of Holland? Anyways, we were told to wear orange and good times were had by all :)

The following Saturday my Mom and I went to the Kenny Chesney/Brooks & Dunn concert. I know there's alot of you out there that aren't really a fan of such music (remember it's my blog so i can like what i want)...yet there were 27 thousand plus fans at Pizza Hut Park that are. The put on a great show and we had a blast!!!

Tuesday ...Eric, X, Michael, Courtney and I had a sushi outing at Teppo...so good!!! Back in the day I was adamantly against sushi...but now not so much...but let's not go crazy, I'm still new at this. ;)

Friday...Momma and I went to see RAIN: The Beatles Experience at the Music Hall at Fair Park. It was basically an amazing cover band that went through their albums, costumes and videos and all. Very cool.

Yesterday was Mother's Day. I took my mom to Randy's Steakhouse in Frisco and it was absolutely AMAZING. If you're ever in Frisco (I know the other side of the world for some of you) and are super hungry...Randy's is definitely a wonderful place to go!

After that I hit the pool with my friend (and new neighbor) Tony. Kinda chilly but the sun felt really good...since i spend most of my daylight hours in a cave. ;) We had a good time people watching and trash talking about the over-grown "frat boys" playing beer pong...I so DON'T get it. lol

Following that, I went over to my sisters' house for a bit and saw mi Abuelita...she's up here from Mexico for another month and so it's always good to see her, my uncle...my sisters of course. ;)

That's all I got for now...hope everyone has a great week. :)
